John Wiley & Sons, Inc., is pleased to learn that Sveriges Riksbank
Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2014 has been
awarded to Jean Tirole.
Jean Tirole of Toulouse 1 Capitole University, France was awarded the
Nobel Prize “for
his analysis of market power and regulation”.
Jean Tirole serves on the Advisory Board of Journal
of the European Economic Association, his latest Wiley published
research appearing in The
RAND Journal of Economics in 2014. Tirole’s most highly cited work
in Wiley journals include the following each of which received several
hundred citations [1]: Some
Simple Economics of Open Source(2002), Incomplete
contracts: where do we stand? (1999), Two-sided
Markets: A Progress Report (2008) and Corporate
Governance (2008).
To celebrate the achievements of Jean Tirole, Wiley made the

content free to access until the end of 2014.
