Seven
Disciplines of a Leader (Wiley & Sons) by Jeff Wolf, founder and
president of Wolf
Management Consultants, LLC, is on sale across the country today.
The author is donating 100 percent of proceeds to benefit three
military-focused non-profit organizations including Warrior
Foundation–Freedom Station, Blue
Star Families and Building
Homes for Heroes. In an effort to raise awareness of book proceeds
benefitting America’s servicemen and women, Wolf launched a social
campaign, ‘Buy a Book, Help a Hero,’ on Veterans Day.
“When I talk to company leaders, business colleagues and book lovers
about Seven Disciplines of a Leader, the second most
popular question asked after I tell them about the proceeds to benefit
our wounded warriors is, ‘How can I help?,’” Jeff Wolf, founder and
president of Wolf Management Consultants, LLC and author of Seven
Disciplines of a Leader said. “Businesses like
Hyatt have responded positively with generous pre-orders and I hope to
generate more sales today because the more we sell, the more we can
donate to our deserving veterans who bravely served our country.”
Seven Disciplines of a Leader is a step-by-step guide to
adopting and implementing key disciplines necessary for effective
leadership. The new release is Wolf’s second book and poised to resonate
with the myriad of professionals looking for guidance in an
ever-challenging business landscape. The book is now available on
Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and Books a Million.
“We are thrilled to be associated with such a generous effort,” Sandy
Lehmkuhler, founder and president of Warrior Foundation-Freedom Station
said. “Jeff Wolf has tremendous compassion for the men and women of the
United States military, and we are grateful to be selected as a
benefiting organization. Proceeds from the ‘Buy a Book, Help a Hero’
campaign will go a long way toward assisting our warriors with the
daunting task of recovering from injuries and transitioning to civilian
life.”
The ‘Buy
a Book, Help a Hero’ campaign has been activated through Wolf’s
social channels including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and supported
by the social communities of the selected beneficiary non-profit
organizations with leadership memes, inspirational quotes and
testimonials from leading figures of the military and veteran
communities. The campaign is also tagged with popular Veterans hashtags
to further visibility including #honoringvets #thankavet and
#thankyouveterans.
Wolf, who was named one of America’s top 100 thought leaders by Leadership
Excellence Magazine for his accomplishments in leadership
development, penned the book after more than 14 years of experience in
the C-suite and management training both inside and outside of large
