John Wiley & Sons, Inc., is pleased to learn that the Nobel Assembly at
Karolinska Institutet has awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or
Medicine for 2013 to James E. Rothman,
Professor James E. Rothman, of Yale University, USA, Professor Randy W.
Schekman, of the University of California at Berkeley, USA, and
Professor Thomas C. Südhof, of Stanford University, USA, were awarded
the Nobel Prize for discovering how cells transport material; all three
winners have published with Wiley.
Professor Rothman has published research in the Journal
of Supramolecular Structure and Protein
Science. Professor Schekman has contributed research to BioEssays and
Professor Südhof has published twenty journal articles with Wiley
throughout his career, most recently in Genes,
Brain and Behavior. Professor Südhof has also contributed a
chapter on C2-Domains to the Encyclopedia
of Molecular Medicine.
To celebrate the achievements of the Nobel winners, Wiley will be making
