Academy of Sciences has awarded the 2012 Nobel Prize in Chemistry
jointly to Professors Robert J. Lefkowitz and Brian K. Kobilka.
Professor Robert J. Lefkowitz, of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute
and Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC, USA, and Professor Brian
K. Kobilka, of the Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, CA,
USA, were awarded the Nobel Prize for studies of G-protein–coupled
receptors; both are published Wiley authors.
Prof. Lefkowitz has published articles in the British
Journal of Pharmacology, Acta
Crystallographica Section D, The
Journal of Physiology, British
Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, Annals
of the New York Academy of Sciences, Journal
of Neurochemistry, Journal
of Cellular Biochemistry, and Macromolecular
