The Wiley Learning Institute™ Announces New Fall Workshop Series

The WILEY LEARNING INSTITUTE™(www.WileyLearningInstitute.com), a service that provides essential knowledge, ideas, and best practices to promote professional learning is now offering faculty & campus leaders the opportunity to learn from internationally recognized speakers and thought leaders. This is part of a new series of professional development workshops that will be running Thursday, October 11ththrough Friday November 16th and will include both 90-minute and half-day sessions.

Presenters such as Stephen Brookfield, L. Dee Fink and Mary Deane Sorcinelli, as well as many other thought leaders in teaching and learning and leadership development will be hosting one of the 22 separate workshops, which will focus on 5 key learning areas:

  • Designing Courses
  • Engaging Students
  • Assessing Learning
  • Teaching Online
  • Department Chair and Leadership Development

All offerings are instructionally sound, highly interactive, and immediately applicable—giving faculty the knowledge, tools, and resources to take what they have learned and apply it to their classrooms the next day.

Additionally, those who sign up for a Flex pass, which allows attendees to receive prepaid workshop registrations, which they can pass on to their own faculty. Those who receive Flex passes can personally select a relevant workshop that fits into their schedule. Flex passes are available in both Silver (good for any 90-minute workshop) and Gold (good for any half-day or intensive workshop), and bulk discounts are available for departments, colleges, institutions.
