Wiley is pleased to announce the publication of the 12th edition
of Sax's
Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials. Since
its inception in the early 1950's, these volumes have become an
essential resource for those who need to evaluate the hazard of
substances used in commerce. Sax's
Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials provides
extensive data on approximately 28,000 substances, including 2,400 new
substances from the previous edition.
Each entry in Sax's
Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials includes a DPIM
code, hazard rating, entry name, CAS number, DOT number, molecular
formula, molecular weight, line structural formula, description of
material and physical properties, and synonyms. The books also contain
Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH) levels for approximately
1,000 chemicals.
Sax's
Dangerous Properties of Industrial Materials also
lists the toxicity data with references for reports of primary skin and
eye irritation, mutation, reproductive, carcinogenic, and acute toxic
dose data.
